About me
I'm an artist and photographer based in Herefordshire, near the England–Wales border. Creativity has always been central to my life—I got my first SLR camera at 14 and have been captivated by image-making ever since.
In 2006, I studied photography at the London College of the Arts and also explored printmaking in my spare time. But it wasn’t until 2018, when I took an evening class in figurative oil painting, that I truly discovered my favourite medium - oil.
Seeking to develop a freer, more expressive style, I joined the Porthmeor Artist Development Programme at the St Ives School of Painting in 2024 and in 2025 joined the Professional Landscape Development Programme at Newlyn School of Art in Penzance.
My work focuses on expressing and connecting with the mystery of landscape through fluid colour and loose form.
You'll also find my portraiture work here, sitting amid the landscape. Although very different from landscape, it's a way of engaging with people.
